UPDATE: Thank you for helping raise nearly $15,000 to elect incredible Black leaders to key state legislatures! By funding these candidates, you're also helping to defeat Trump and flip the Senate by adding votes to the top of the ticket (the "reverse coattails" effect). We've added additional candidates to our slate -- can we raise another $5,000?
Where It's Needed (WIN PAC) connects grassroots donors with community organizations and local candidates in key areas -- so we can get the greatest bang for our buck in the 2020 election.
These Black candidates are running in close districts in states where Democrats have the opportunity to flip legislative chambers in 2020:
- Arizona House: 2 flips needed to control chamber.
- Pennsylvania House: 9 flips needed to control chamber.
- Michigan House: 4 flips needed to control chamber.
- North Carolina House: 6 flips needed to control chamber.
- Texas House: 9 seats needed to flip chamber.
