Protect Abortion Access in Wisconsin
As Republicans in the state legislature and in our nation's Capitol chip away at access, to abortion, Representative Lisa Subeck is fighting back.
A slew of abortion bans have passed in places like Alabama and Missouri with the intent of challenging Roe v. Wade. With men like Brett Kavanaugh recently appointed to the Supreme Court, the threat to Roe is real.
If Roe v. Wade is overturned, abortion would be immediately illegal in Wisconsin, and doctors would be subject to up to criminal penalties of 6 years in jail and $10,000 fines.
That is why, this week, Lisa introduced the Abortion Access Protection Act to repeal Wisconsin's criminal abortion ban.
