Special Opportunity: Wisconsin’s Supreme Court — Make a 501(c)(4) donation

On April 4th, there’s a must-win Supreme Court race in Wisconsin that could give Democrats a 4-3 majority. This would let Democrats draw fair maps, win a trifecta, and pick up as many as two House seats — which would help win back Congress and build a bigger majority.

Additionally, Wisconsin is set to be a top 2024 Presidential & Senate battleground state, so every dollar we invest in grassroots groups now really is a "down payment" on victory in 2024.

Wisconsin has always been a hub for progressive ideals – from education to labor rights and more. But after the election of Republican Governor Scott Walker, the progressive landscape and the opportunities that came with it drastically changed. Together, residents witnessed gerrymandering that has lasted more than a decade and a Republican takeover that continues to create barriers to voting. But Wisconsin isn’t giving up on reviving their progressive past – and neither are we.

Donate to support local organizing groups in Wisconsin. Help build a strong progressive movement bigger than any single election. MVP grants 100% of money raised on this page to support WI groups.

WHAT GROUPS IS MVP FUNDING?

MVP will prioritize groups on (but not limited to) this list, based on evolving needs, budget gaps, and available funds.

BY WHEN ARE FUNDS NEEDED AND STILL USEFUL?

The sooner the better, and MVP’s grassroots partners can use these donations right up until April 4th (Election Day) to cover last-minute needs.

MVP is fundraising for this campaign right through April 4th. Any donations thereafter will go to MVP’s Wisconsin Fund, to fund year-long organizing and lay the groundwork for the 2024 elections.

  • The current estimated funding gap is $5.4M. As a whole, MVP has already moved $1.1M in partisan funds to Wisconsin groups for this campaign, and is working to move more right up through Election Day. We would love these volunteer fundraising efforts to comprise as much of that as possible!
