In Georgia, we saw the power that BIPOC-led grassroots organizations can wield when they're properly resourced to drive turnout.
Let's follow suit in Wisconsin. The Badger State has a critical US Senate election and a HUGE gubernatorial election in 2022, on top of all US House & state legislature seats.
By donating to this fund, you are sending resources DIRECTLY to the following Wisconsin-based GOTV groups. These organizations have been vetted and recommended by organizers on the ground in WI.
(We strongly encourage recurring, small-dollar donations, committed through November 2022. Recurring donations give growing non-profits much-needed budget certainty.)
- Black Leaders Organizing Communities: BLOC is working to uplift Black citizens, leaders, and businesses in the community by investing in building long-term power, taking political action, and empowering Black leaders with tools so that their issues are represented at all levels of government.
- Voces de la Frontera Action, Inc: One of the strongest state-based immigrant rights organizations in the country.Voces de la Frontera Action and Voces de la Frontera has chapters in Milwaukee, Racine, Madison, Green Bay, Waukesha, and Walworth County, and a strong history of organizing the Latino vote.
- Wisconsin Voices: A strong State Voices table lifting up grassroots groups doing nonpartisan voter engagement. The key group supporting youth and student organizing in Milwaukee and statewide.
- Our Wisconsin Revolution: Building a member-led, populist political organization from the bottom up, they aim to take back power from elites and build a Wisconsin that is of, by, and for the people.
As fund sponsor, DemCast is also included as a recipient. We will use any resources brought in through this fund to support digital field operations in Wisconsin through the 2022 election.
