I fight to end the death penalty because I believe in the inherent dignity and redeemability of every human life, as taught in the Gospel.
Jesus Christ’s message was one of mercy, forgiveness, and the possibility of transformation. In John 8:7, when confronted with a woman accused of a capital offense, He responded, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”
This act emphasized compassion over condemnation. Christians are called to follow Christ’s example, recognizing that judgment belongs to God alone and that every person, no matter their past, is capable of redemption through grace.
Supporting the end of the death penalty aligns with the Christian call to uphold life, practice mercy, and offer hope—even to those who have committed grave wrongs.
Donating to Death Penalty Action becomes an act of faith in God’s power to transform lives and a witness to the sanctity of life as a divine gift.
