William Lawrence

End of Year Community Fundraiser for William Lawrence for Congress

Please join Robert Peña and Scott Harris on Monday, December 29th at 6 PM for a fundraiser at Everybody Reads, 2019 E. Michigan Avenue, in the heart of Lansing's Eastside Neighborhood.

Please RSVP before the event.

William Lawrence is an organizer and coalition-builder with lifelong roots in the community. He spent over a decade founding and building the youth-led climate organization, Sunrise Movement, where he took on fossil fuel giants while fighting to bring green energy investment to the Lansing area. In recent years, he founded the Michigan Rent is Too Damn High coalition, which has secured legal protections for renters in state law and has been on the ground advocating and organizing alongside Lansing's unhoused community.

Will is a community-first candidate who will always show up and listen to us. Just like us, he feels completely unrepresented in Congress and is building a people-powered campaign that will bring real representation back to our community.

Join us in helping Will end 2025 on a strong note so that in November 2026 we can elect a neighbor and community advocate to the United States Congress.

Checks can be made to "Friends of William Lawrence".
