About the Film:
RESISTERHOOD follows 6 diverse Americans as they fight for social justice on the streets and in the halls of power. Meet our subjects as they, along with tens of thousands of other protesters, descend on Washington DC for the largest single day of protest in American History, the 2017 Women’s March. Follow along as a Muslim immigrant, an octogenarian civil rights marcher, the great-granddaughter of a Suffragist, a Puerto Rican power couple, and a self-proclaimed Rainbow Warrior work to protect our rights and inspire others to join this peaceful and historic movement. RESISTERHOOD is a testament to the strength of ordinary Americans during this extraordinary time.
“Ordinary people making the decision to make a difference. . . This is by far one of the most inspiring films I’ve seen all year.” — Cinema 365
