WNDC's 2019 Virginia Candidates
The Virginia elections are happening in our own neighborhood; but that’s not the only reason we’re all in on flipping it blue. We need to pick up just two seats in the State Senate and two in the State House to gain Democratic Control of the Virginia General Assembly.
Right now gerrymandering, common sense gun reform, the Equal Rights Amendment, and voter rights are on the line.
It's going to take real champions in the Virginia General Assembly to protect and advance our Democratic values. Fortunately these candidates are up to the task:
- Delegate Debra Rodman (SD12 Richmond, to win)
- Missy Cotter Smasal (SD8 VA Beach, to win)
- Delegate Wendy Gooditis (HD 10 – Loudoun county, to protect)
- Delegate Kelly Fowler (H21 -- VA Beach, to protect)
- Sheila Bynum-Coleman (HD66 – Richmond, to win)
- Lindsey Dougherty (HD 62 – Chesterfield, to win)
Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- I am at least eighteen years old.
- Virginia: This contribution is made from my own funds or the funds of an authorizing corporation or other entity, and the funds are not being provided by any other person or entity.
