June is almost here and it's time to break out the orange T-shirt. Orange, the color hunters use for safety “don’t shoot” while in the woods. The color, Hadiya Pendleton’s friends wore on her birthday June 2nd, to honor her after a bullet took her young life. I wear my orange Tee to honor victims, bring awareness to the public and politicians that on an average day 93 American lives are cut short by gun violence. I wear orange for the 7 children and teens killed by gun violence daily. On June 2nd skylines across the UnitedStates will light up the night sky with orange to proclaim June as gun violence awareness month. This year Moms Demand Action will be holding its first Wear Orange fundraising campaign to elevate the voices of survivors of gun violence, our BeSmart campaign to promote gun safety and prevent child gun deaths and train activists. .Please donate and together lets KeepGoing, and end gun violence.
