The USFWS Must Act to Prevent Wolf Killing and Torture

Wyoming resident fined $250 for torturing and killing a wild gray wolf

Just weeks after the Biden Administration announced it was denying conservation organization's petitions to protect wolves in the Northern Rockies from unsustainable killing, a Wyoming resident ran a wolf down with a snowmobile, taped its mouth shut, and tortured it--before killing it.

This betrayal of conservation is not acceptable. The Administration was provided with mountains of scientific, legal, and activist support for protection and chose not to act. This is a direct consequence of that failure. Please share this story on social media--the more people know about it, the more likely the Administration will finally act.

Secretary Haaland and the USFWS are failing wolves in the Northern Rockies by denying them Endangered Species Act protections but we are not giving up the fight.

Wolves need the protections of the Endangered Species Act and that is what we are advocating for.

We are building pressure on the Biden Administration's US Fish & Wildlife Service to finally develop a national recovery plan that protects this species until it is truly recovered--and states have laws in place to protect them from extreme violence.
