This special afternoon will feature Ulster County Executive Jennifer Metzger as our guest speaker. As the first elected woman executive in Ulster County, Jennifer brings deep experience in government and advocacy. She holds a PhD in political science, has served at every level of government, and co-founded Communities for Local Power—an organization dedicated to energy justice and sustainability.

We are also proud to honor Rebecca Edwards, Town Supervisor of Poughkeepsie, as our Lucille Pattison Woman of the Year. This award celebrates the legacy of Lucille Pattison, the first woman to serve as Dutchess County Executive—and the first female Democratic County Executive in the United States.

In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to meet local Democratic women candidates endorsed by the DDWC who are running in this November’s election.
