IfNotNow is a Jewish movement, led by young Jews, working to end our community's support for the occupation and move into a real commitment to freedom and dignity for all Israelis and Palestinians.
With Bannon and Trump in the White House, it is clearer now than ever that real freedom for Jews is intricately linked to real freedom for all people. I only joined this movement a few weeks ago –after endless prodding from my sister– and the energy and analysis behind IfNotNow gives me real hope in these tough times. On March 26, Trump goes to AIPAC. Well so do we. The #JewishResistance will be showing up from around the country to make it abundantly clear that any organization promoting endless occupation and cozying up to Trump does NOT represent us.
But people need to get there! My sister and I have pledged to raise at least $750 to help. I'm kicking in $100 myself. And it costs $72 to get someone from Boston to DC.
