Suffolk County voters will get a ballot with only one name on it for County Clerk, setting up the incumbent for automatic re-election.
That's bad, because he is incompetent and untrustworthy. He sets taxpayer dollars on fire by hiring his political party boss for a high-paying job, but apparently doesn't make him work. Abigail Field refuses to allow the incumbent to coast to victory, and is running a write-in campaign.
