Matched Giving for Willamette Valley Crisis Care

Double Your Gift. A generous donor has agreed to match up to $25,000 of funds raised through the end of the year. Donate today and your gift will be added to our matching gift fund to make double the impact in returning community responder services to Eugene.

Willamette Valley Crisis Care is raising money as we prepare to bid on the City of Eugene contract proposal for mobile integrated health and crisis services. We hope to have vans on the road in Spring of 2026. We successfully raised $50,000 this fall and for this giving season we'll be able to raise an additional $50,000 between your generous donations and a $25,000 matched gift.

Example of how funds will be used:

  • $5,000 covers the cost of training a new crisis worker
  • $2,500 covers the costs of outfitting a van with supplies, including an AED
  • $1,200 builds a new medic bag with everything from a blood pressure cuff to an EPIPEN and wound care supplies.
  • $700 covers office space for a month
  • $350 outfits a community responder with safe work boots, safety tools, and gear, including warm layers and rain gear.
  • $100 covers a 10-pack of wool military grade blankets for our unhoused clients
  • $25 covers a day's worth of snacks and water for clients
