Contribution rules
- I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
- This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
- I am at least eighteen years old.
Contributions are not tax deductible. The limit per donor is $39,200 (primary) and $39,200 (general). Contributions from individuals, unions, and political committees, are permitted. Spouses may each contribute the maximum from a joint bank account as long as each makes a separate credit card contribution, signs their own check, each signs the check, or provides an accompanying letter. Contributions from lobbyists, lobbying firms, and foreign nationals/principals are prohibited (contributions from green card holders are permitted). You must provide your street address, occupation, and employer for reporting purposes. If you are unemployed or retired please note that under "employer" and "occupation." Contributions must be from the contributor's own funds and may not be reimbursed by another unless you disclose the true source of the contribution.
