Young Democrats of Lake County

The mission of the Young Democrats of Lake County is to encourage, train, and uplift young democrats in Lake County, Illinois. We believe that the perspective and participation of young people is essential to the success of our party and our country.


We commit to be an inclusive organization that strives to increase the diversity of the Lake County Democratic Party. Our organization supports the involvement of young democrats at the supporter, volunteer, staff and candidate level of campaigns in Lake County.

Access to educational seminars on topics such as campaign finance, filling out the census and running for office. 


Opportunities to hear directly from campaign staff, candidates and party officials on how to get involved in their work leading up to the November election.
