The Young Democrats of New Mexico are eager to continue the momentum, after coming off a historic 2025 General Election night and witnessing the cascading efficacy of our organizing efforts.
YDNM now looks to build upon this work with the upcoming Young Democrats of America Winter Meeting, taking place in Omaha, Nebraska. This is an exceptional opportunity to not only further develop lasting and meaningful connections that will help us achieve a brighter progressive future; it is also a remarkable chance for New Mexico to continue to display its’ Democratic excellence on a national level.
This is not just a trip — it’s an investment in New Mexico’s young leaders. A strong Young-New Mexican presence at the convention will give our members hands-on leadership experience, help us build relationships with national partners, and bring home the organizing skills and strategic insight we need to win key Democratic races across the state in 2026.
With your help, we can make sure New Mexico doesn’t just show up to the national stage, but shows out. We are unapologetic as a state in our support of progressive policy that can serve as a national blueprint for what is possible. As such, we look forward to connecting with other young progressive leaders around the country, so that we can work to obtain a future of dignity that we all deserve and so that we can show up in solidarity with our Blue-Dot Young Democratic brothers and sisters in Nebraska.
