It’s GO time in Idaho!

My name is Patrice Yeatter and I’m asking you:

Is your voice being heard in Boise? No. That’s why I’m running; to give a voice to those of us who have been pushed aside in favor of the rich.

The majority of Idahoans are frustrated at the fact that our current supermajority in the state legislature is simply not listening. We asked for real estate tax relief and we got a $450 million dollar income tax refund…to the wealthiest citizens. We begged them not to touch Medicare Expansion and we got legislation that will remove 40,000 of the neediest Idahoans from coverage. We flooded the governor’s office with phone calls telling him not to pull $50 million in funding for public schools to give to wealthy private schools. He ignored us. Enough!

I am running for Senate District 7 along with two equally energetic Dems who are running for both seats in House District 7. We have an excellent chance to stop “business as usual” and enact common sense legislation for much needed tax relief, continued Medicaid Expansion, better funded schools and affordability for all.
