Yes for Families, the vote yes on the Kalamazoo County Childcare Millage campaign has an opportunity to earn $50,000 in matching funds to support our cause.


The next $50,000 raised will be matched dollar for dollar to support our August victory.


By passing the childcare millage in August 2026, the county could be able to do the following:

  1. Support families with children aged 0-5 in finding high-quality childcare spots
  2. Raise the wage of childcare workers
  3. Allow county employers to know that their employees have access to high-quality childcare ensuring a workforce that is able to arrive on-time and ready to work
  4. offset costs to families making 200-400% of the poverty level

Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
