This November, Cy-Fair voters will decide five ballot propositions, and every one of them matters.
Proposition A is what keeps people in our schools: teachers, staff, and the buses that get our kids to class. Propositions B through E repair and replace what we already own. No new buildings, just roofs, air conditioning, buses and technology.
It is critical that all five pass.
District leaders have been plain about what happens if they don't. Transportation is the first thing cut. Schools close, and fast. And the librarians and counselors we already lost are not coming back.
The short-term solution is protecting CFISD's ability to operate today. The long-term solution is electing a Governor and legislators who will adequately fund public education tomorrow.
With your support, our outreach efforts will make sure our messaging reaches and turns out voters. If families are being asked to pay more to keep their schools running, they deserve to know why, and they deserve leaders in Austin who will fix the problem.
