Yosemite Democrats Membership Dues

The Oakhurst Democratic Club was started in 2002, formed by a small group who wanted to promote the values and principles of the Democratic Party in eastern Madera County.

ODC is registered with the Federal Elections Commission and the California Fair Political Practices Commission as a Political Action Committee.

We have grown from 25 members in 2002 to over 200 today. The Oakhurst Democratic Club also welcomes guests and associate members from any political party.

ODC has welcomed guest speakers from a wide range of organizations. We believe a civil discussion of opposing viewpoints is essential for our country to thrive.

Our Primary Club Goals:

• Promoting awareness of Democratic Party initiatives;
• Partnering with other local clubs in outreach, fund-raising, and social events;
• Supporting local and national candidates;
• Increasing our membership;
• Addressing the challenge of climate change and seizing our clean-energy future;
• Defending civil rights and expanding opportunity for all Americans;
• Developing a dialogue with people who hold different viewpoints.
