I decided to run in the summer of 2020 to serve as the new Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner for Single Member District 4D04 because I love my community and want to make the Petworth and Brightwood Park neighborhoods safe and vibrant for all who live and work there.
My top priorities as a Commissioner will include:
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s more important than ever for the new 4D04 Commissioner to advocate effectively on behalf of the approximately 2,000 residents who call 4D04 home, and that’s exactly what I intend to do once elected.
I have lived on the 700 block of Gallatin Street NW since December 2018 with my wife Juliana and, since February 2020, with our baby son Elliot. A DC resident since 2013, I currently serve as the National Committeeman for the DC Young Democrats, where I have advocated extensively on behalf of DC statehood at the national level and work hard to engage DC’s 18-36 year-old Democratic voters to get involved in local and national politics. I am also an active member of the progressive grassroots organization DC for Democracy and serve as an ex officio member of the DC Democratic State Committee.
Your contribution will assist me in reaching out and communicating my campaign message to the 2,000 residents who live in 4D04! The maximum contribution level is $25.
