Like many across our country, I find that each day brings more incredible and disgraceful actions and words from our President. This has done nothing but to strengthen my resolve to stand up for our values as well as to serve as a constant reminder that Democrats ran a campaign inspired by community and the knowledge that we are uplifted by diverse perspectives from across the country. That's something we can all be proud of and it’s important to never forget that the majority of Americans share those values.

Throughout our nation’s history, we’ve faced setbacks in our pursuit of a more perfect union -- but even in the darkest of moments, Americans have summoned the courage and persistence to fight on.
