Last week, on September 11th, 2023, the 22nd anniversary of the devastating 9/11 terrorist attacks on our nation and its people, bad actors decided to take advantage of this tragedy by interrupting official city council proceedings in the cities of Bangor & Hallowell to spew antisemitic conspiracies about the origins of 9/11.
The racist, antisemitic, and homophobic comments by the Zoom-bombers are already abhorrent, but attempting to co-opt a national day of mourning and remembrance for their own hateful purposes is absolutely appalling.
We will not back down or be silent while Maine people and Maine communities are threatened, and we’re calling on you to help us by doing the same and supporting our mission. Join us in our fight against hatred and bigotry, as we work to make Maine better and more welcoming for all people.

Your contribution will be used in connection with federal elections and is subject to the limitations and prohibitions of the Federal Election Campaign Act. Contributions to this page cannot be from the funds of a corporation or labor organization.
If you are self-employed, please list the name of the entity on your paycheck.
