Please join your fellow Democrats for an afternoon of fun, food, friends and festivities at our Annual Labor Day Picnic!
This year's theme: Blue County...Blue Collar
When: 11am - 3pm, Monday, September 7th, 2009 Where: Freedom Park next to the Camarillo Airport, 480 Skyway Drive., Camarillo, CA 93010 - enter on Freedom Park Drive. Directions below.
$20 per person (kids under 10 free with paying adult!) includes delicious full BBQ lunch with tri-tip, chicken and all the fixins! Vegetarian meals will also be available, so please let us know if this is your preference. There will be games for kids, facepainter, bounce house, raffle, live music, and booths with goodies and great information on local Democratic and Dem-friendly organizations.
We'll also have speeches from important Democrats and elected officials including: Eric Bauman - Vice-Chair California Democratic Party Lois Capps - Congresswoman, California's 23rd Congressional District Pedro Nava - Assemblymember, California's 35th Assembly District Julia Brownly - Assemblymember, California's 41st Assembly District John Zaragoza - Ventura County Supervisor, 5th District ... and more.
