The 2014 election for the Senate will be tough for the Democrats. The Democrats have only a slim five seat majority in the Senate at present. And the Koch Brothers are busy trying to buy this years election.

The N. Y. TIMES on the Koch brothers operation: "In 2012, as The Washington Post reported, the Koch brothers network raised $407 million, which was secreted among 17 groups with cryptic names and purposes that were designed to make it impossible to figure out the names of donors the Kochs worked with. As one tax expert told The Post, “it’s designed to make it opaque as to where the money is coming from and where the money is going."

We must reelect good Democratic Senators Al Franken, Mark and Tom Udall and Jeff Merkley. Ed Markey would be a strong new voice to the Senate.
