LGBT Delegates and Straight Allies from all over the state will be attending the 2012 Texas Democratic Convention in Houston, Texas on June 7-9. As the official LGBT Caucus of the Texas Democratic Party, the Texas Stonewall Democratic Caucus (TSDC) will be hosting a variety of activities at the convention, including the following:

Thursday, June 7, 7-9 pm, 2nd Floor Atrium of the Hilton of the Americas Hotel (adjacent to the George R. Brown Convention Center) - Opening Night TSDC Reception to welcome LGBT Delegates, Alternates and Straight Allies. Assorted hors d'ouevres, cash bar and welcoming remarks.

Friday, June 8, 10 am-12 noon, Hilton of the Americas Hotel, Room 337AB – TSDC Executive Board Meeting. Non-Board members welcome to attend.

Friday, June 8, 1 pm-2:30 pm, George R. Brown Convention Center – TSDC BIENNIAL CAUCUS MEETING. Election of TSDC officers, including a new President, Vice President and Secretary. Vote on new bylaws provision for TSDC Endorsements. Introduction of candidates and party officials. ALL DEMOCRATS WELCOME TO ATTEND AND PARTICIPATE!

Friday and Saturday, June 8 and 9, 9 am – 5 pm, George R. Brown Convention Center – TSDC Booth in Exhibit Hall to provide important information and promotional materials.

WE ARE SEEKING SPONSORS FOR OUR CONVENTION ACTIVITIES! TSDC anticipates that its total convention expenses will be approximately $6,500. We are looking for sponsors to help defray these costs. Sponsorships are available at the Platinum Level ($1000), Gold Level ($500), Silver Level ($250), or Bronze Level ($100). Sponsors will be acknowledged at both the Thursday night reception and the Friday afternoon Caucus meeting.
