My name is K. Denise Rucker Krepp and two years ago, 6B10 residents elected me ANC Commissioner. I'm grateful for the support you gave me in 2014 and I respectfully request that you vote for me again in 2016.
Since elected in 2014, I've successfully advocated for improvements to the DC criminal justice system; increased parking enforcement; greater communication between DC agencies and residents on land development proposals including RFK Stadium, Reservation 13, and the Boys and Girls Club; and additional traffic calming measures.
Over the next two years, with your help, my goal is to hold DC agencies more accountable. It shouldn't take 840 plus days to fix a broken sidewalk. Similarly, it's unacceptable for 17th Street SE to be torn up twice because DC agencies failed to properly communicate. Simply put, 6B10 residents have a right to expect results, not excuses.
My husband and I first came to Washington, DC in the early 1990s. We became residents of 6B10 is 2003. We love living in a walkable, bikeable, community where neighbors greet you from their porches and children, including my own, play on the sidewalks.
Pursuant to DC law, each individual is only allowed to contribute $25 to my campaign.
Thank you for your support!
