As expected!
Representative Robin Vos promised—maybe the correct word should be warned—us before the election that the Assembly would be “more conservative” this next session.
The session hasn’t even started yet and already Assembly Republicans are showing how true that is. This week one of their most extreme conservative members, Chris Kapenga, promised to introduce legislation which would destroy even more workers’ rights, drive down wages and kill middle class jobs by outlawing private sector unions entirely.
The tea-party and the extremists Republicans are preparing to push this legislation through and have already formed another shadow “independent” organization to advance their agenda and undoubtedly launch anonymous attacks against Democrats who stand up for working people.
