The People's Budget: A Raise for America
I led the Congressional Progressive Caucus in releasing our own budget proposal this week to provide solutions to the problems Republicans continue to ignore. We create 8.4 million good paying jobs by 2018, and we do it by investing and responding to the most pressing issues of our time: repairing crumbling roads and bridges, updating our energy infrastructure to reduce our impact on global warming, and investing in education opportunities like debt-free college that will lead to bright minds creating new businesses and job opportunities right here in America.
