This page is intended to help true progressive Democrats who face tough races against sometimes the worst of the far right.

2010 is shaping up to be a year on defense, but one with a number of races that should be close. Please help.

Jack Conway Debt Retirement

Jack Conway is Kentucky's Attorney General. He is pro-choice and was for the public option. As state Attorney General, Conway created a cyber-crimes unit and forensics laboratory that prosecutes internet crimes and trains prosecutors and police officers. He led a state investigation into price gouging at Kentucky gasoline stations before Hurricane Ike made landfall, resulting in seven stations paying settlements. He prosecuted Medicaid fraud cases and renegotiated gas rates increases. He has taken over 40,000 images of child pornography out of circulation, helped take 90,000 child predators off MySpace, and led the largest drug bust in state history. He will be Kentucky's finest Senator in generations. He deserves our support.
