The ballot description for Proposition 8 makes it perfectly clear. Prop 8 "eliminates the right of same sex couples to marry."

No On Prop 8, Equality For All is the coalition that is leading the fight to defeat Prop 8 and defend the fundamental right to marry for all Californians. Help me help them. Contribute to my fundraising page today!

My husband (Samuel) and I were married in Niagara Falls Canada on Feb 14th, 2005. Following the CA Supreme Court ruling in May/2008 our marriage is at long last recognized as fully legal in the state of CA!! I can tell you that that day was by far the MOST profound, heartfelt and monumental occasion that we have ever experienced!

Proposition 8 proposes to TAKE AWAY the right of all loving same sex couples to marry the person they love! It further would TAKE AWAY the marriage recognition of ALL same sex couples who reside in CA and were already married here or elsewhere!

You should know that if Prop 8 passes in November and the CA Constitution is amended to include this discrimination it could affect the LGBT community for decades to come!

Please help us to make sure this does NOT happen! You can help in several ways:

1) Please make any financial donation you can. Any amount helps and the reality is that to win this battle for Equality takes financial backing to fight the opposition.

2) Please volunteer any time you can spare through Volunteers are needed for phone banking and face to face discussions with the CA voters.

3) ABOVE ALL, PLEASE VOTE *NO* ON PROP 8 ON NOVEMBER 4th AND ASK EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO DO LIKEWISE. In the end the *NO* votes are what will win this battle to ensure TRUE EQUALITY for ALL.

Together, we can win this all important struggle for Equality and ensure that CA remains a state which ensures true Equality for ALL!
