At ActBlue, we're your bullhorn. We let you speak up about the issues you care about and we translate that passion into dollars and cents. If money is the language of politics, we've made every American a native speaker. Today, decision makers hear your voice more clearly than ever before, and they're starting to listen:

  • Opposition to Republican Gov. Scott Walker's attempt to strip Wisconsin workers of their rights--currently at $415,000 and climbing on ActBlue--spread to Indiana, where Democratic legislators are denying Gov. Mitch Daniels (R) the ability to pass a similar bill. Recently, Gov. Daniels asked his Republican allies in the legislature to withdraw the bill.
  • In 2008, grassroots donors and organizers committed to gay rights used ActBlue to raise over $1,200,000 to fight California's Proposition 8. In 2009, they raised another $1,400,000 to fight for equality in Maine. Though defeated at the ballot box, those campaigns put the federal government on notice--gay rights was an issue that wasn't going away. Today, Don't Ask Don't Tell repeal is on the books, and President Obama has just instructed the Justice Department to stop defending DOMA.
ActBlue means that you don't need billions of dollars and a direct line to the Governor to make your voice heard. All you need is a computer. Before ActBlue, it would've been nearly impossible for Americans across to country to weigh in on pivotal state issues like these.

ActBlue is your amplifier. ActBlue is your translator. ActBlue is not a filter. We don't tell you what to care about or who to support. We put that decision is back in your hands, where it should be.

To do that, we rely on your support. Making a $15 recurring donation to ActBlue ensures that you'll continue to have a voice in the decisions that impact your life. We think that's what democracy is all about. If you do too, then please:
