As your ANC Commissioner I will:
- Make constituent service my top priority, working with our neighbors to ensure we get the services we need and deserve from the DC Government.
- Hold regular Single Member District meetings and/or office hours.
- Answer constituent phone calls and emails promptly.
- Work to improve Rhode Island Avenue by attracting businesses that serve us folks who live near the Avenue.
When tough issues come up I will:
- Seek input from the community before making a final decision.
- Hold a meeting to get input from the residents in the affected area. This includes flyering the area with ample notice and allowing people who can’t make the meeting to provide input via phone and email.
- Build consensus around the tough issues. I’ll listen to the input of the community, then make a decision.
- Operate with full transparency and accountability, so you know what your elected officials are doing for the community.
