The ballot description for Proposition 8 makes it perfectly clear. Prop 8 "eliminates the right of same sex couples to marry."

In 1948, the California Supreme Court was the first state court in the country to strike down a law prohibiting interracial marriage. In 1967, the U.S. Supreme Court invalidated all remaining laws against interracial marriage. Let California continue to take the lead in human rights in our nation. Vote no on Prop. 8.

No On Prop 8, Equality For All is the coalition that is leading the fight to defeat Prop 8 and defend the fundamental right to marry for all Californians. Help me help them. Contribute to my fundraising page today!

The latest field poll found that of the 22 percent of voters who have already voted, they voted in favor of Proposition 8, 50 to 44 percent. That’s why it is so critical that over the weekend we convince any undecided voters to vote NO on Tuesday.

Tony Perkins, national crusader in the effort to eliminate the right to marry, has said the battle to pass Prop 8 is more important than the presidential election. The result is that they have raised $4.5 million in the last two days and purchased another $2 million in advertising.

This insanity needs to stop. Prop 8 needs to be defeated. It’s wrong. It’s unfair. The people supporting it are fanatical, intolerant and willing to do and say anything to eliminate my rights.

No on Prop 8 must continue to stay on the air equal with the other side in order to convince undecided voters to vote NO. We need to raise a minimum of $1.5 million today to keep our new ad on the air over the weekend and on Monday.
