The only way to oppose the wars is to defund them. It's easy for Democrats to say they are against the wars, and then go ahead and vote for supplemental spending for them anyway.

All the Democratic candidates for office listed on this page have signed on to the Coalition Against War Spending statement:

The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have cost Americans over $1 trillion in direct costs, and over $3 trillion altogether.

At a time when our national debt exceeds $13 trillion, we can no longer afford these wars.

It's time for Congress to reject any funding except to bring all our troops safely home.

Some of the candidates have put out statement or video of their own about their commitment which is referenced on this site here. Check out what they have to add.

Please note: any Democratic candidate active on ActBlue who signed onto the pledge appears on this list, regardless of their competitiveness in their race. Some definitely have a chance of winning (with enough support, hint hint) and others not so much.

If you want to concentrate your donations to the candidates with the best chance of winning - and send the signal by donating through this page that their outspokenness against the wars is very important to you.

Or if you want to send a symbolic $1 donation to all candidates instead - it's up to you.

Challenging Blue Dog Democrat Jane Harman in the primary. Harman was a big ally of President Bush in launching this war, and voted for hundreds of billions in war spending. Has raised $300K for her campaign without a dime from corporations, and has a shot at winning.
