James McGovern

Jim McGovern always gets an A+ on our Report Card. He's strong on peacekeeping, global health, and human rights. If ever there was a Global Solutions Champion, Jim is it.

Image of Emanuel Cleaver

Emanuel Cleaver

We've backed Emanuel Cleaver since his first run and are proud to continue to be behind him today. He's a rising figure in Congress and solid on international issues, especially UN funding, global health, climate and supporting a ban on torture. This is the face of a new global leader!

Image of Tom Udall

Tom Udall

As a Representative, Tom Udall was strong on our issues, always someone we could count on. He's supported funding the UN, working on climate change, cooperating with the ICC and opposing the development of new nuclear weapons. In the Senate, we believe Tom Udall will build upon the global credentials he built in the House.

Image of Eric Massa

Eric Massa

Eric Massa is a fantastic candidate running in this upstate New York district. He's said that he "believe[s] that our nation's support of the UN is vital to ensuring international cooperation and peace." He wants to work on climate change and fund peace operations, like the one in Darfur. He's spoken out loudly and clearly on these issues on the trail and we want him to be speaking them from the House floor come January.

Betty Sue Sutton

Betty Sutton is a terrific candidate from northeastern Ohio. An A+ performer on our report card, she worked hard on the UNEPS resolution in the House. We've backed her since her first run and expect her to continue leading on important global issues.

Image of Jeff Merkley

Jeff Merkley

Jeff Merkley wants to work with international organizations.  He wants to tackle climate change.  He opposes new nuclear weapons.  He wants the U.S. to work with the International Criminal Court.  He supports the U.N. Emergency Peace Service initiative.  He is our kind of Senator.  Let's help him win in November!

Tom Perriello

Tom Perriello could be our poster child for an ideal challenger. He fully supports our issues, including funding the UN, addressing climate change, working with the ICC, supporting UNEPS and opposing new nuclear weapons. His background is ideal, having worked in Sierra Leone with child soldiers, pro-democracy groups, and aided in the post-civil war peace and reconciliation process. He also served as special advisor and spokesman for the prosecutor at the Special Court for Sierra Leone. Please help Tom Perriello get to Congress this fall.

She will work to prohibit torture and stop new nuclear weapons development. She also supports working with the International Criminal Court and funding UN peacekeeping efforts and will call for a UN Emergency Peace Service. Let's get Darcy Burner to Washington.
