Once Wall Street banks were big. Then they became too big to fail. Last week, they have completed their evolution. They are now big babies.
This is the word out of their secret meeting held in New York City: They plan to withhold donations to Senate Democrats unless Sen. Elizabeth Warren stops being mean to them.
It’s hard to take these sorts of childish threats seriously. Except we have to. The banking industry spent almost $300 million in the last election. That’s on top of over half a billion dollars they spent lobbying the same year.
Campaign for America's Future is the strategy center for the progressive movement. For nearly two decades we have fought back against the cynical campaign to tilt the playing field against the middle class. We do not have large corporate sponsors.
