Election Law CLE - Nassau

Election Law in the 21st Century in New York State.

When: Saturday, October 22nd, 9am to 12:45pm

Fee: $100

Scholarship Policy: NYDLC is dedicated to promoting Voting Rights Issues and thus has a liberal scholarship policy for attorneys who are unemployed, underemployed, or unable to pay the fee for other reasons, but would still like to participate. Contact CLE@nydlc.org for more information.

This 4 Credit CLE Course is open to all New York State attorneys.

The CLE will instruct and inform attorneys as to the critical issues with the current state of Election Law in New York State. The course will present and discuss the history of various aspects of Election Law, problems that have arisen, proposed legislation, and proposals for change. Topics include: Anti deceptive practices legislation, Early Voting and Absentee Ballots, and Campaign Finance reform.
