Colorado House Majority Project

Guess who ranks higher?

Did you see the Denver Post story about Conservation Colorado’s scorecard release? Once again the message is clear: Colorado Democrats are champions for our environment. As the Post notes in their article, “Democrats scored the highest mark” – and 22 of our 34 Democratic legislators received perfect scores of 100%!

By contrast, every member of the House GOP was rated 50% or below. Every. Single. One.

We need your support to continue working to protect Colorado’s environment and quality of life. Can we count on you to help us fight for Colorado’s clean energy future?

This session, we continued our trailblazing work to build a brighter, more sustainable future by protecting our clean air and water, promoting renewable energy, and increasing conservation awareness. But even more importantly, we were able to prevent dangerous GOP attempts to dismantle the progress we’ve made over the last few years and move our state backwards. We fought back against attacks on our renewable energy standards, irresponsible attempts to force dependency on coal and foreign oil, and efforts to undermine critical protections for our public lands.

Thanks to our Democratic majority in the State House, we were able to stop these radical anti-conservation efforts dead in their tracks. But it’s clear that these attacks on our environment won’t stop – and with the Senate in GOP control, their nefarious agenda is more possible than ever. The House is the last backstop against truly terrible, damaging environmental policies wreaking havoc on our state.

WE NEED YOUR HELP to continue defending Colorado against radical anti-environmental attacks. Can we count on you to donate $10, $50, or even $100 to protect our Democratic Majority in the House and ensure pro-environment values in our state legislature?

We can’t afford to go backwards. But we can’t keep moving forward without your help. Please donate today.

Sincerely,

Dickey Lee Hullinghorst
Speaker of the House
Colorado House of Representatives
