We have hosted some of the most notable individuals in progressive politics in this state and beyond. Such speakers we have hosted include frmr State Sen. Sen Wendy Davis, State Sen. Rodney Ellis, State Sen. John Whitmire, State Sen. Sylvia Garcia, Mayor Annise Parker, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Congressman Al Green, State Rep. Sylvester Turner, State Rep. Carol Alvarado, State Rep Borris Miles, State Rep Ron Reynolds, Tx Democratic Party Chair Gilberto Hinojosa, Historian and Ready for Hillary Co-Chair Allida Black. Our organization has achieved some of the best GOTV efforts in the state. The neighborhoods we organize have the highest turnout and bucked the red tide in 2014.Your membership helps support our efforts for Texas. It is one of the best contributions you can make-and the rates are very reasonable- 20.00 for individuals, 35.00 for a couple or family.
