Representing Henderson and much of the surbanan areas of Las Vegas and Clark County Nevada, Dena represents a district very hard hit by the economy so one can expect some anti-incumbant anger here. She was first elected to congress in 2008 with the Obama tide in Nevada. When I volunteered in Nevada for Obama on election day in Nov of 2008 Dina spoke to the voluteers and gave us a pep talk the night before the election. She is a tough lady and I think will continue to be a good representative for the people of this hard working and hard pressed district.

Represents a district encompassing the northern ex-urbs of Denver and much of the eastern plains of Colorado. Conservative farming country, urban refugees and some mountain and student populations. Took the district from a nasty right wing republican in the obama coattails of 2008. Against pressure from blue dogs and conservatives she stood with the president and the people in voting to support health care. We need to keep her in Congress!

Tom Perriello

Tom Perriello represents a largely rural and conservative district in souhern Virginia- includes Danville and Martinsville, but also Charlottesville for the opposite end of the economic and political spectrum. First elected in 2008 while McCain carried the presidential vote in the district- From Howard Dean- :" I ran into Tom a few days before the final health care vote last week, and he is one impressive guy. The Daily Beast recently called him, "The Most Courageous Man in DC," and it's easy to see why. Five different tea party groups organized months of aggressive protests around his district in southern Virginia that Sen. McCain had carried, and corporate interest groups dumped $1 million in negative ads attacking him for his votes on energy and health care. Many in his own party say there is no way a guy from a district like his could support these reforms and still get re-elected; but Tom has no intention of backing down from his convictions, and neither do we. Running against Virginia Foxx, the ncumbent and nutty representative of this north west North Carolina district centered around the suburbs of Winston- Salem, Billy has an uphill battle. But we need him to win. I think of Foxx as essentially the old lady version of Michelle Bachmann- the words spewing from her mouth are just as unbelievable, false, idiodic, hateful and cruel, only this with a much less telegenic package. She needs to go- Send Billy to Congress.
