Seriously Progressive
Being a Progressive is serious business. Not everyone is capable of being a serious progressive, but one theory is that it starts with a sense of humor. How ironic! Al Franken represents to me the character of those who I would want on my team. It is always going to be a battle to secure a society which supports our values as those who take the opposite view are probably not going to change their minds either. I can't honestly say that we are right and they are wrong, but at least we consider the possibility, and just keep coming back to wanting to do what logically seems to be the fair and compassionate thing for our species.
