Happy 50th Birthday Mark!

Mark Pocan will turn 50 on August 14th. He and Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) have worked closely together on a wide range of issues.

Now is a good time to thank Mark Pocan, and help support his re-election effort with a campaign contribution via Act Blue now. We suggest $50 to celebrate his 50th birthday, but feel free to give any amount you can.

PDA endorsed and supported Mark's campaign when he ran to fill Tammy Baldwin's seat, a few years ago. He won and hit the ground running when he entered Congress. Some highlights include: leading the effort to guarantee voting rights in the U.S. Constitution with his H.J.Res. 44, (one of our asks for our letter drops this month), and speaking out for fair trade while exposing the threats posed by unfair trade deals like the Trans-Pacific Partnership. He's still working to expose and fight back against the ALEC-Gov. Walker dark alliance, and similar corporate hostile takeovers of our political system.

Mark Pocan has remained close to PDA, speaking at several of our Round Table meetings on Capitol Hill. We need strong, smart progressive leaders like Mark in Congress.
