Red Texas Town Hall Meeting - Health Care Reform

Please join us for an event to discuss Health Care Reform

* 7:00 p.m. September 10th * Heritage Gardens, West 3rd, Bonham, Texas 75418

About one hour north of Dallas - small county with around 35,000 people.

This is a non-partisan event, sponsored by the Fannin County Democratic Party. It is designed primarily to inform our local residents and help answer questions and clarify issues. No politicians will be speaking! We're working on a panel which currently includes two physicians and we're working on a presenter from AARP. We felt we needed to take a leadership role regarding this issue and at the same time make it comfortable and accessible for all our residents. We have hosted non-partisan Town Hall's on other issues; Clean and Green and Law and Order and hopefully have the credibility to make this event successful.

We have the funding to pay for the venue and providing refreshments is never an issue, but we do need a good PA system! And that's pretty expensive to rent. We are also hiring some off-duty police officers (hopefully we won't need them) in addition to having our police department be on alert. Any help would be appreciated!

And oh, we're in deep red, north rural Texas so this could be an interesting evening!
