Stop Roger Rivard

Goal thermometer

State Rep. Roger Rivard is so extreme that even his fellow Republicans are embarrassed to be associated with him.

Roger recently said that his dad gave him some advice when he was a kid, advice that he keeps in mind even today as a State Representative -- "Just remember, some girls rape so easy, it'll be rape the next morning."

Today, after the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel broke the story, the news exploded nationwide with reports of his disturbing statement - from CBS News, New York Magazine, the Huffington Post, Salon.com and others.

Congressman Ryan who called his comments "outrageous and offensive," Governor Walker and Senator Johnson have all pulled their endorsements of his campaign, and Tommy Thompson and Congressman Duffy followed suit - condemning his statements as "indefensible and inappropriate."

But this race isn’t over yet! Roger Rivard continues to campaign and we must make sure that his opponent, Democrat Stephen Smith, defeats him in November.

Let's make sure that extremists like Roger Rivard don't decide the future of Wisconsin, please give $35, $50, or $100 today.

Help elect Stephen Smith and stop Republicans from continuing their inexcusable war on women?
