San Franciscans need to support Jose Hernandez for Congress. Your contribution will help Hernandez oust a Tea Party incumbent in CD 10 (Central Valley) and thus take back another California House district for the Democrats.

With an engineering background (Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory) and Astronaut experience (2 weeks aboard the space shuttle Discover in 2009), Hernandez has a reputation as a no-nonsense problem solver.

A.G. Block, associate director of the non-partisan University of California Center, speaks favorably about Hernandez's chances of winning. "He's a hometown kid who is Hispanic...That has huge cachet in any district." As reported by SF Gate, Democrats in CD 10 now "have a slight edge in the number of registered voters and 20 percent of the voters are Latino."

*HOUSE PARTY: Sunday, October 7th, 2012 from 2 to 4 pm at the Noe Valley home of Tom Brown. Address will be given upon RSVP.
