LAW SCHOOL IS HARD AND SO IS BEATING PROP 8 BUT WE CAN DO BOTH!
Friends and family, I know that I am preaching to the choir in saying this, but what I am about to tell you bears repeating. Proposition 8 is something that affects myself, for sure, but it also affect all of us. It enshrines discrimination into our California Constitution and strips away a right fundamental to each and every one of us.
I'm sure we can agree that there is a lot at stake in this election, and several issues that demand our attention, however, I hope that you will consider what this means to each and every gay or lesbian person you know (or don't know!) in California. If Proposition 8 passes, I will never have the ability to get married to the person I love, at least for the next few decades to be sure. This proposition profoundly affects my life, and I hope you will consider that when voting.
In addition to voting, this movement requires advocates and allies such as yourself willing to discuss the issue with others and willing to DONATE. Please please please consider donating to this cause. Your support is great, and so are your votes, but to actually have an impact I desperately hope that you will give to the cause and spread the word. It doesn't need to be a fortune. Be please, think about giving whatever you can.
No On Prop 8, Equality For All is the coalition that is leading the fight to defeat Prop 8 and defend the fundamental right to marry for all Californians. Help me help them.

Oh, and for those who haven't gotten an update in awhile, law school is (as expected) exceptionally hard and thoroughly fulfilling. And wow, the Bay Area is ... wow. With all my love,
