Blue America PAC

Feats Don't Fail Me Now

Ted Lieu has a spectacular record in the state legislature, not just as someone who votes right, but as a leader on cutting edge issues. He passed a bill to tackle mortgage fraud by banksters even before the U.S. government was looking at it. He authored a bill to prevent the state of California from cooperating with the NSA's unconstitutional spying on U.S. citizens. He wrote the first law in the nation to ban gay-conversion therapy. He also wrote this November's ballot measure asking voters if they want to overturn Citizens United. We'd like to see him in Congress.

If we had Adelson money, we'd write Ted a big check. But we don't. What we do have, though, is a very rare and collectible RIAA gold record that was awarded to Little Feat's longtime bass player Kenny Gradney for the band's 1978 opus, Waiting For Columbus.

The "rules" are simple. Just contribute something-- anything-- to Ted's campaign on this page and in a week we'll pick one lucky contributor to receive the plaque as a thank you gift from Blue America. (If you're a huge Little Feat fan and can't swing a contribution, just send us a post card letting us know-- to Blue America, PO Box 27201, Los Angeles, CA 90027-- and we'll enter you too.)
