Contribution rules

  1. I am a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident (i.e., green card holder).
  2. This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.
  3. I am at least eighteen years old.
  4. I am not a federal contractor.
  5. I am making this contribution with my own personal credit card and not with a corporate or business credit card or a card issued to another person.
Contributions to Van Hollen Victory Fund will be allocated as follows: Each individual may contribute up to $10,800 to the Van Hollen Victory Fund (married couples can contribute up to $21,600), and each multi-candidate committee may contribute up to $15,000. For each individual contribution to the Van Hollen Victory Fund that is $5,800 (or $10,000 PAC) or less, 100% of that contribution will be allocated to Van Hollen for Senate. For each individual contribution to the Van Hollen Victory Fund that exceeds $5,800 (or $10,000 PAC), will be allocated to the Victory NOW PAC. Notwithstanding the allocation formula set out above, any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular joint fundraising participant. Any contributor may designate his or her contribution for a particular participant by contacting pcms@vanhollen.org. The allocation formula above may change if any contributor makes a contribution that, when allocated, would exceed the amount that the contributor may lawfully give to any participant.
